home project - process post

When I realized I had to make my own boxes for my home project far too close to the home project's deadline, I kind of freaked out. I had to figure out all the mathematical measurements, go to Lowe's with my dad, and help him build six boxes before the senior show. Luckily, it all worked out! I don't really have process photos of the boxes -- I kind of forgot because it didn't feel like an art project in my mind -- but the photos in my home project documentation blog post show the final project, which I'm quite proud of. Even if this was a one-time thing, I learned a lot about how to deal with construction & dimensions, and how to be creative with displaying nontraditional work in a gallery space!
