The process of doing my self-portrait was frustrating, more because of the proportionality than the artist's mark. My mark definitely diverged a bit from Michelangelo's in terms of the values, mostly because I focused more on accuracy to the values of the photo than those of the original artist's work. My biggest struggle occurred when I was drawing my face, as I had issues matching the proportions of the eyes/eyebrows to the rest of the face, which is something I need to focus on in the future. Otherwise, I was really proud of the shading I did on the hand and chest, as well as the way I still had texture in the hair despite its dark values.
